The husband whose wife and two young sons were shot dead in his family home last week has said investigators have "identified all the parties involved", so his "name are being dragged into the mud.” with a tragic death.

The bodies of Cassandra Sweeney, 25, Benjamin Sweeney, 4, and Mason Sweeney, 1, were found last Wednesday around 11:33 am inNew Hampshire. 6} was found at his home in Northfield. Police were called to the home to call 911.

An autopsy revealed that each victim died from his single gunshot wound, and all three deaths were ruled homicides.

It is not known who called him or why.

Almost a week after the fatal shooting, no arrests have been made and no suspects or persons of interest have been named.

"Our investigation remains very active and ongoing," New Hampshire Attorney General John Formera told The Independent on Tuesday.

"We have identified all those involved and have determined that they pose no threat to the general public.

"Miss Sweeney is saddened. We will cooperate fully with investigators. He is being served by our Victim Witness Advocate."

On Sunday, Mr Sweeney spoke publicly about the incident for the first time in a Facebook post, saying, "What happened? , we have not been able to ascertain anything about who is responsible."

In honor of his "beautiful wife," he said that after the deaths of his loved ones, "things will never be 'normal' again." 26} "I would like to thank all of you for your help and support. Things can never be 'normal' again," he wrote.

Mr. Sweeney concluded his message by thanking the people for their support.

A GoFundMe set up to help with the memorial service had raised him to more than $42,000 by Tuesday morning.

On Saturday, authorities conducted searches in the Northfield and Tilton areas as part of an investigation.

Officials said the search was for physical evidence, not new information, and urged people to stay away from the area.
