A PLUS-SIZE, curvy woman filmed herself trying on fancy dresses, and her confidence and candidness was refreshing.
Nyah, who goes by the TikTok handle @nyahleea, did a Shein shopping haul and she loved every piece, but one was especially difficult to put on and readjust over her size 38G chest.
“Welcome to my dress try-on haul,” Nyah said in her TikTok video, adding: “We’re gonna start with the best one and then move on.”
“Just a warning, I look so sexy in this,” she comically said before showing her wearing a pink floral satin slip dress.
The $19 Shein PARTHEA Tie Shoulder Fishtail Hem dress had ties around her shoulders and on the chest area, pulling and cinching the ruched fabric. It hugged her curves and accentuated Nyah’s cleavage.
“I have an actual bra on so the girlies are girly-ing,” she said, showing how her purple bra straps peeked out of the low and wide neckline.
“I just look insane. Body-ody-ody,” she said confidently as she posed.
Next, she tried on a similar pale yellow and floral peasant-silhouette style. The PARTHEA Puff Sleeve High Split dress is currently on sale for $21.
With another low-cut neckline, Nyah’s large chest was spilling out of it.
“My bra is showing in this one no matter what I do,” she explained, adding: “This is the only actual bra that I own, so.”
“I don’t even wanna tell you guys how hard this was to put on by myself,” she said as she tugged at the sleeves and held her hand over her exposed breasts.
She eventually pulled her bra straps all the way to the side so that they were no longer visible.
“But I think that it’s really cute,” she finally said before asking: "Do you think that I’m perfect? Let me know.”
Her last three dresses had pros and cons to each of them,
One red satin slip dress had a cowl neck that fit her chest perfectly; however, Nyah thought the midi cut looked “awkward” on her short stature.
She also liked a simple black bodycon dress that reminded her of a Skims piece and that accentuated her “itty bitty teeny weeny waist,” but it was too long for her.
“It’s okay to think that I’m absolutely stunning and perfect,” she joked while posing in it.
And for her final dress – a ribbed beige tank top dress with a slit – she said it was her least favorite because it was too loose and didn’t have a “wow factor.”
Even though Nyah was critical of some of the dress features, people seemed to love each of the styles on her.
“I LOVE HOW YOU LOOK IN THEMM,” one person commented, and another echoed: “You look incredible in all of these.”
And despite her having major issues with the yellow dress, many people said it was their favorite style.
“My fave was def yellow, so cute on you!!!” someone wrote, and another added: “You look like actually royalty in the second one omfg.”
Nyah’s clothing haul was very impactful. A fan said: “We have the same body type and seeing you wearing these dresses and being so confident makes me love my body a little more.”
