It turns out that we’ve been using tissue paper all wrong - as one DIY whizz has shared her quick and easy hack to make any gift look posh in a matter of seconds.
The clever hack was recently shared on TikTok by a DIY fan named Giusti - known on the platform as @domesticallyblissful.
The social media user regularly shares home decor videos on the social media app and has amassed an impressive 90.4k followers and 1.7million likes in the process.
One of Giusti’s videos has come just in time for the festive season and if you are yet to wrap up your Christmas gifts, you’ll want to pay attention.
Giusti took to the video sharing platform to show off her gift bag tissue paper hack and it’s left many people very impressed.
She said: “For years I have folded individual tissue paper for gift bags.
“This often took way longer than it should have because I was determined to gift a beautiful present.
“So when @the.handwrittenhome shared this tissue paper trick last Christmas I immediately saved it!
“It’s a crazy simple Christmas gift hack, but it’s helped me so much and I hope it will help you too!
“Layer the tissue paper on top of each other at different orientations.
“Place one hand under the stack of tissue paper (to lift it slightly) and place your other hand on top, pinching the center.
“In one quick motion, lift and flip the tissue paper upright and place it into your gift bag”.
Giusti demonstrated her simple method in her clip and not only does it take a matter of seconds, but it creates a very posh looking edition to a gift bag.
The video has clearly impressed many, as in just one day of being live on TikTok, it has quickly racked up 170.6k views.

Many TikTok users were left stunned at the simple but stunning method, with many eager to give it a try themselves.
