In less than two weeks, a heartbroken mother whose self-esteem had been devastated by a traumatic divorce was 12 years younger than her perceived age.
Tallinn, a schoolteacher, made an appearance tonight on Her 10 Years Younger To See If The Experts Can Rewind The Clock Of Her Appearance.
After her relationship with her mother fell apart, her mother's world was turned upside down and she was left to raise her daughter alone. On the
Channel Her 5 Her show, she said:
"Even though I was a mother, it took a toll on me physically and mentally.
"That's because I have to pick myself up and start my life all over again.
"Being a single mother, I put aside a lot of things, including my appearance, because I had other priorities.
"Looking tired, drab, and boring. It just doesn't reflect who you really are." was 40, but the public assumed her to be 49.
Speaking to host Cherry Healy, a shocked Taryn said: true intentions. The
team set out to help her grow older by sending her to stylist Gemma Shepard.
Taryn said:
"I got married and divorced. That's when I lost interest in what I wore. What I choose is practical, sensible, and It's easy to wear."
Gemma quickly had her change out of her "boring" jeans and try on a black leather dress and high-waisted jeans.
And Taryn was a fan of her new guise, she said: I felt like I could own the world.

Then , she visited beauty and skin specialist Nilam Holmes for an eyelash lift and brow lamination to "open her eyes."
She then enlisted the help of her make-up artist Hannah Martin to get tips for her day and night look.
Taryn also got her new haircut, removing her gray hair and replacing it with her bold blonde hair.
Tarin was surprised when the big announcement came.
"I've never seen a face like that in my life.
"For the first time in a long time, I like looking in the mirror. I think the dark clouds are gone."

Daughter's girlfriend Niamh (15 years old) was reluctant to see the finished result and said:
