Mercedes has a wide range of electric vehicles. But I still won't buy.
EQA, EQB, EQC, etc. are suitable for gasoline vehicles, so they are inefficient.
Or EQE and EQS are good but very expensive.
Never mind.
Merc soon proved he was at the top of the electric car game.
We test drove a great experimental concept saloon called the EQXX. Our power consumption equates to a range of 750 miles on a single battery charge.
So he may only need to connect once a month.
More good news.
This is not a mad professor's science project.
We use real and affordable technology.
It also feels like you are driving a real car.
Incredibly fun and not the boring eco car you imagine.
It sits low to the ground, accelerates like a warm hatchback, and steers sharply with little body roll.
But it glides smoothly along dual carriageways with ultra-low drag.
Unfortunately Merc will never make a car like this.
Most people want a crossover. Crossovers are taller and consume more energy, resulting in less range.
Still, an electric car equivalent to the C-Class sedan is due, and engineers expect many of the EQXX's tech and lessons learned to be built into that car, due around 2025.
