But instead of paying around £1,000 for the remodeling job, Lauren Holdsworth decided to take the job herself, saving tons of money in the process.
Lauren shared on her TikTok before and after the staircase that started with a beige carpet.
She then removed all the carpet, sanded each staircase, and painted the outside of both sides of the staircase white.
