Kate Middleton teams up with Roger Federer to raise money for children's charity

The Duchess of Cambridgeteams up with tennis superstar Roger Federerfor a sporting event to raise money for underprivileged children has been held.

The royal family and athletes, patrons of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (LTA), will host the Laver Cup Open Practice Day at her O2 on September 22nd.

The event invites fans to watch Federer and others practice for the annual tennis tournament starting September 23rd.

The Laver Cup is her three-day competition, where six of her best European players team up to face the rest of the world.

Tickets go on sale for her on Monday, August 22, with proceeds going to Action for Children and the LTA.

Alongside practice, the pair will also host a tennis day for children aged 8 to her 15 in East London. So that people of all backgrounds can participate in sports.”

Donations raised for Action for Children help provide practical and emotional care and support to vulnerable youth and their families, and charities are encouraged to Let them have fun while out and about.

It will also be used to fund a new LTA tennis coaching program for children in the most disadvantaged areas of the country.

When attending Wimbledon in 2019,Kate Middleton to former player Anne Ketavon and Federer to Prince George's "favorite tennis player" and even got the chance to play with the young royal.
