Kieran Tierney sparks major Arsenal injury fear as Scotland star limps off against Ireland

Luckless Kieran Tierney has been dealt a fresh injury blow during the first half of Scotland's Nations League clash with Ireland.

The left-back had recaptured his best form in the English Premier League giants Arsenal after a lengthy spell on the sidelines last season, as he held down a regular spot in Mikel Arteta's side despite the big money arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko. However, after returning from his knee injury he faces another spell on the sidelines.

The full-back was hauled down in the box by Troy Parrott as he looked to meet Stuart Armstrong's floated in a corner for Scotland. No penalty of VAR check was made but the former Celtic star received treatment for a lengthy period. He was replaced by Greg Taylor. He initially appeared to tell the physios "he was fine" before the coaching team told him his game time during the Nations League clash was over.
