King Charles 'may ban Harry and Meghan from coronation' over Netflix series, says expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be banned from attending King Charles' upcoming coronation over the fallout from their new Netflix series, a royal expert has claimed.

The first three episodes of the Sussexes' six-part bombshell documentary series were released on the streaming platform yesterday (Thursday, December 8), causing chaos for the Royal Family amid a growing rift with the couple.

The series details Harry and Meghan's "complex journey", including their love story as well as the "challenges" that led to them quitting their full-time roles in the institution.

The Mirror reports that while it's still "business as usual" for the rest of the Royal Family, they won't ignore the "dynamite" that Harry and Meghan are throwing at them forever.

He said: "There is absolutely no doubt now that the Sussexes are claiming there was a war against them.

"We've got clear dynamite in there - it would be impossible to take that out of context.

"We haven't seen it, but it's so obvious.

"The question is, what can the royals do about it? Harry will always remain a prince."

The Sussexes might not be invited to King Charles' coronation, Fitzwilliams claimed

Fitzwilliams said the family's solution could be to "cut all ties" from Harry and Meghan, which would include keeping them away from the King's coronation.

He added: "The only thing they can do is not invite them to the coronation, and cut all ties - a clean cut from the Sussexes. Essentially, that's all they can do."

The new king is set to be crowned alongside The Queen Consort in a ceremony on May 6, 2023.

Warnings that Harry and Meghan might not be invited come as the Mirror's Royal Editor, Russell Myers, reported that members of the family believe there is "no way back" for the couple after their Netflix series.

Harry criticised the Royal Family for saying that backlash Meghan faced was a 'rite of passage'

In the second episode of the documentary, Harry claimed that the Royal Family said the abuse Meghan faced after their relationship went public was a "rite of passage" because other women joining the family had experienced it too.

But he said that the backlash Meghan received was different due to the "race element" and that the Palace allegedly told them "don't say anything".
