Lee Johnson reveals he hired a sniper to spice up the premiership at Hibs. Easter Road's Gaffer has Rangers in his sights this afternoon and has big campaign goals despite a bumpy start.
Johnson has drafted many motivational speakers and hopes the latest one hits the mark. he said:
"All these little things are like making them available to everyone to try and give these young people a little more resilience. I've had some in the past. I've killed people, but I'm not a sniper!Listen, I think that keeps it fresh.There have been Red Arrows and SAS in the past.
"Marcus the Cricketer There's trescosic whoever you can get for a reasonable cost try to inspire and try to make it different it's a little bit of schooling it's fun for me too and the staff
"We have to create environments that are consistent with this growth mindset. As for Snipers, it's definitely about control. Right?This modern young pup is so accustomed to 3 seconds of entertainment on Instagram and moving on that it's all about losing your mind's eye and focus.
"Stay focused It's not the easiest thing for these youngsters.How do you build resilience?Experience, right?We've already experienced it in the first 3-4 games of the season and it builds up fast
"We need to keep working on it. Trust it, trust the training."
Johnson said his Easter Road revolution was just beginning. I admit it, but I'm hoping a motivational speaker can speed up the process. He said: "How long will it take? That's a million dollar question. It's very difficult to set an absolute timeline for that.
"Micro with every individual, There's all the mini-stories, then there's the team-building process, and this is going to be very important, and we're doing video analysis, analyzing individual performance, analyzing team performance, and so on to track it quickly.
We already have it at home and we're working on it in our daily training and having those little conversations, but it takes time, really.
I'd like to be able to build a team with a kit of 100%, but because of the recognition we have for the way we play, everyone says, 'Yeah, that's the Hibs team.
