Legoland roller coaster crashes: 34 injured after train crashes in Germany

GermanyAt least 34 people were injured when two roller coaster trains collided at an amusement park in the south, two of them seriously.

One roller coaster train braked hard and another collided at Legoland Park in Günzburg, German news agency dpa reported.

Three helicopters were dispatched to the scene, and fire and rescue services were called in to assist.

It was not immediately clear how the crash occurred. It took place at the Fire Dragon roller coaster station, an amusement park spokesperson told dpa. A woman died in an accident.

A 57-year-old woman died of injuries after falling while her jet coaster was in motion. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
