
The Reds lead Group D with nine points from four games, having surprisingly suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Atalanta last time out in the tournament. Ajax are second in the group on seven points and lost 1-0 to Liverpool in October in the reverse fixture of this evening’s meeting.
