She is a Miss Newcastle winner who describes her ideal man as Fifty Shades’ billionaire sadist Christian Grey – but Love Island newcomer Rebecca Gormley also has a big heart.
For the past year, the part-time model has been volunteering for the Alzheimer’s Society after taking on carer responsibilities for her grandad.
Les was diagnosed with dementia four years ago, and struggles to recognise family members.
Rebecca, right, says: “It’s been difficult for the family. It’s even worse for my gran, Phyllis. There are times when she has to explain she’s his wife.”
The kind 21-year-old is set to melt hearts when she enters the Island villa tonight.
Rebecca starred in a cheeky teaser clip tonight which saw the new Islander warn the current girls as she insisted that 'nothing' would hold her back in getting what she wants.
She dramatically told cameras: "I'm going into the villa to find a man and there isn't going to be anything that holds me back.
"Watch out girls, I'm coming for your boys."
Speaking ahead of her villa entrance, she also revealed her ideal man, describing: "I like a ‘Jack the lad’. He’s got to be the centre of attention easy to get along with, and someone who gets involved with the chat."
Rebecca is used to winning though, confessing: "I won Miss Newcastle in 2018 and came sixth in Miss England 2019."
The part-time model and carer could bring trouble for the villa as the brunette has hinted three of the guys in there have caught her eye.
Rumours suggest it could spell drama for Leanne Amaning and Mike Boateng.
