Man in his 80s on mobility scooter stabbed to death in broad daylight attack

An old man riding a scooter was stabbed to death in broad daylight.

A pensioner in his 80s was out in Greenford, West London, when he was attacked shortly after 4pm today.

Emergency services rushed him to Cayton Road and the man was found with a stab wound.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made yet, and police are trying to inform his next of kin.
