A NEW royal biography has revealed how Her Majesty worried Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were "a little over-in-love" ahead of their royal wedding in 2018.
The new royal biography, written by author and broadcaster Gyles Brandreth, illuminates some fascinating details regarding the extraordinary final years of the Queen’s life, including her worries about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle years before Megxit.
Royal author Brandreth wrote: “The only concern the Queen let slip in the early days of the Sussexes’ marriage was to wonder to a friend if Harry wasn’t ‘perhaps a little over-in-love’.
"This was as far as she came – to my knowledge at least – to ever uttering a word against the new Duchess of Sussex.”
The piece, titled Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait, also revealed that this year, Her Majesty knew she had limited time left and said on the weekend before her death that she had "no regrets".

The new royal biography, written by author and broadcaster Gyles Brandreth, illuminates some fascinating details regarding the extraordinary final years of the Queen’s life, including just how much she loved her legendary meeting with Paddington bear.
The piece, titled Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait, revealed Her Majesty knew she had limited time left and said on the weekend before her death that she had "no regrets".
Royal writer Brandreth wrote: "Her Majesty always knew that her remaining time was limited. She accepted this with all the grace you'd expect."
The author claimed that he "heard that the Queen had a form of myeloma bone marrow cancer".
Inside Meghan Markle’s £17k-a-year school
In her latest Archetypes episode, Meghan Markle headed back to her exclusive former high school and boasted of her time there.
The Duchess of Sussex attended LA’s Immaculate Heart School, where her father used his lottery winnings to pay for his daughters’ private education.
When she was nine, her dad Thomas won £560,000 on the California state lottery, setting Meghan on a path to acting success and ultimately to meeting Prince Harry.
The school is not far from where Meghan and Harry currently live in the beautiful hillside property in the Los Feliz area.
Students have access to the school’s own impressive pool worthy of a luxury holiday resort and spa, a state-of-the-art weight room and gym with a wrap around balcony overlooking the pool.
Students can also enjoy the ground’s garden oasis which they claim is “conducive to learning, creativity & reflection”.

Catherine Ommanney said she dated the Prince when she was 34 and he was just 21.
Catherine, now 51, told The Sun on Sunday they acted like teenagers and kissed passionately during dates.

Ed McVey, a 21-year-old theatre actor, has been spotted on set for the first time as he takes on the role of Prince William in the next series of the Crown.
The next series, expected to be released next year, will include Princess Diana’s tragic death.
In the previous seasons, the real-life son of actor Dominic West, who is playing Prince Charles in The Crown, played Prince William.
Born in 2004 Senan West was picked after a nationwide search for a suitable youngster to play the royal.

The royals said: "Doddie Weir was a hero - we are so sad to hear of his passing.

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles is set to be formally crowned the new sovereign next year.
The coronation will take place on May 6, 2023, Buckingham Palace has announced.
The ceremony will take place almost 70 years after his mother the Queen was crowned.

Gyles Brandreth’s forthcoming book also reveals the Queen’s incredible stoicism during her final months.
Her Majesty is said to have told a lady-in-waiting that she was determined to keep busy as it helped her cope with Prince Philip’s death.
And she is said to have not wanted to give way to self-pity, saying: “My husband would certainly not have approved.”
It has also been claimed that she fought a painful cancer in her final year.
The book suggests that the late-monarch suffered from an incurable form of the disease, despite her death certificate recording her cause of death as “old age”.

A secret royal feud involving the Queen’s closest aide has been revealed in an explosive book.
Angela Kelly, 65, was Her Majesty‘s dresser and said to be one of her “true friends” – but it’s claimed not everybody was that fond of her.
Bombshell claims in the upcoming biography by Prince Philip‘s friend Gyles Brandreth titled Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait suggest the Queen’s closeness to Angela was said to “not always go down well” and other staff “found her a nuisance”.
It is said the ladies-in-waiting would get irritated by Angela, as the daughter of dockworker had a different upbringing to them – and they harboured a grudge over her friendship with the Queen.
In a snippet serialised in the Mail+ it explained how Angela helped the Queen dress in colourful clothes following the death of her husband.

Royal biographer Angela Levin believes the Royal family will want to have a positive first Christmas without the Queen, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s presence might “dampen” that.
Speaking with the Sun, Levin said: “Harry and Meghan aren’t coming, which I think will be a huge relief for the rest of the family.
“The family will want to make it a very positive day after the Queen’s death and I think the Sussexes’ presence would most certainly dampen that.”
Meghan Markle felt Royal Family ‘needed her more than she needed it’ according to royal author
In her book The Palace Papers, royal author Tina Brown said Meghan Markle felt “the monarchy likely needed her more than she needed them”.
Brown said Meghan came to this startling conclusion after her and Prince Harry’s royal tour of Australia in 2018.
“That was something that puzzled the royal household tremendously. Their tour of Australia was a wild success, more successful than Kate and William’s, in terms of crowds and the adulation,” Brown said.
“[Meghan] wanted to be able to talk about the causes that she cared about, as opposed to being a representative figure in the monarchy,” the author added.
King Charles to spend Christmas at Sandringham
King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla will return to Sandringham this year, and are expected to be joined by their wider family.
The Queen hosted 32 Christmases from the Sandringham Estate, Norfolk, but the pandemic caused her to spend her final two festive periods at Windsor Castle.

What is an OBE and what does it mean?
An OBE is a British honour awarded by the King to recognise extraordinary contributions to the country and the impact of their work, either locally or nationally.
It is the second-highest ranking in the Order of the British Empire honours after the CBE (Commander) and sits above the MBE (Member).
King George V created the Orders of the British Empire during World War One in 1917 to honour the efforts of civilians and servicemen in non-combat roles.
They are now awarded to civilians twice a year – at New Year and on the King's official birthday.

Inside Kate and William’s US tour – just days before Harry & Meg award
PRINCE William and Kate Middleton are set to travel to the US for a series of engagements just days before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attend a glitzy award bash.
It is the first time royals have headed over to the States since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview.
Wills and Kate will jet to the US on November 30 - their first official visit abroad since they became the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The couple will spend three days in Boston, Massachusetts, to attend the second Earthshot Prize Awards.
Kate will also take a solo trip to visit the Centre on the Developing Child at Harvard University, which works with her Centre for Early Childhood.
Former WAG also tried to set up Meghan with Ashley Cole
Former WAG Lizzie Cundy also claimed that she tried to set up Meghan with Cole.
Speaking to Grazia last year, she shared: "Meghan said she loved London, and would love an English boyfriend, so I went through my phone to see who I knew that might be a good fit.
"I tried to find her a boyfriend - Ashley Cole wasn’t so keen - but I did try to fix her up, which is funny looking back."
It all turned out fine for Meghan in the end as she married Harry in an extravagant ceremony back in May 2018.
The pair wed in front of 600 guests in a wedding estimated to have cost £32million, including security.
Meghan Markle could have been an England WAG – but was ‘warned off’ football star
MEGHAN Markle could have been an England WAG but was reportedly warned off going on a date with football star Ashley Cole.
The Duchess of Sussex, who was 32 at the time, had just divorced film producer Trevor Engelson and was meeting UK journalists in a bid to get press attention in Britain.
Prince Harry’s wife is said to have asked a British journalist pal she was with in 2013 whether it was worth meeting England star Cole.
Daily Mail journalist Katie Hind claimed Meghan showed her messages she had been sent from Cole.
The Duchess reportedly revealed that the England star had contacted her in the hopes of a romance following her divorce.
