Netflix viewers were "wowed" by the streamer's latest documentary I Just Killed My Dad
This three-part documentary seriestells the true story of Louisiana teenager Anthony Templetwho shot his father in the head in June 2019. detailing.
He then immediately called his 911 and confessed to the switchboard operator: I shot him three times.
Investigators found no evidence of a physical struggle or evidence that the shooting occurred in self-defense.
However, Templet's attorneys claimed to have been abused by his father over his ten years. His stepmother, Susan Templet, and other family members urged him to avoid a prison sentence.
Some wrote, "This is silly [sic]," while others agreed, "This is shit out of Wattpad's holy hell."
