'Perfect' Love Island contestants created using artificial intelligence

See the computer generated contestants for the reality show that sizzles.

Artificial intelligence has been used to create the 'perfect' Love Island contestant. Freelance film editor Duncan Thomsen trawled back through all nine series of Love Island to see which couples have won the show, then mashed them up using the AI software Midjourney.

It comes after the participants in this summer's edition of the hit ITV dating show were revealed. Scots comedian Iain Stirling will once again provide a running commentary on the loves and lives of the contestants living in the sun-kissed villa over the eight weeks.

The freelance film editor from Brighton, said: "Soon, I predict an AI version of Love Island will be broadcast on our screens using islanders like the ones I've created. People will be voting for a couple that don't even exist!"

The show kicks off on Monday 5th June on ITV2 and ITVX at 9PM.
