Prince Harry and Meghan's 'battle with Royal Family' is 'running out of ammo'

Harry and and Meghan are "running out of ammo" in their battle with the Royal Family, according to sources.

The release of a promo trailer for the pair's new Netflix feature has sparked fears from within the Royal Family that Harry will reveal intimate details about his treatment while a part of the institution, as well as King Charles' affair with Queen Consort Camilla Parker-Bowles.

The series, simply titled Harry & Meghan, is set for a pre-Christmas release on Thursday and is likely to cast some royals in a less than favourable light.

It comes amid fresh criticism of the monarchy following one of the Queen's long-time aides resigning after she was accused of being racially insulting towards charity boss Ngoza Fulani.

The release of the film is expected to be damaging to the Royal Family, much in the same way Harry and Meghan's interview with Oprah Winfrey was in March 2021.

Some insiders say the King and Queen Consort have grown tired of the perceived criticism from the couple and are "weary".

The series has been described as “explosive... and very damaging”.

But one royal insider described the latest twist in the Harry and Meghan saga as "the law of diminishing returns" saying: "What more is there possibly left to say?”

Another predicted the show would be “Oprah plus. Oprah with more crying”.

The source added: “If she [Meghan] has saved anything from the Oprah interview, I can’t imagine what it is,” while another said “Everyone would prefer if the film didn’t exist”.

The timing of the trailer release has also been commented on, coinciding with Kate and William's trip to Boston in the US where they had hoped to highlight some environmental causes.

Harry and William are not thought to be in regular contact since the release of the Oprah interview, temporarily putting their differences aside for the Queen's funeral.

Sources claim King Charles and William tried to reconcile with Harry, who now lives in California, but that he leaked their offer of an olive branch to CBS News broadcaster Gayle King.

Netflix says the bombshell docuseries contains “commentary from friends and family, most of whom have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed”.

Clips in the trailer at one point show Meghan in tears on her phone, with the series only the latest bombshell in the ongoing war of words between Harry and Meghan and the Royal Family.
