Gogglebox made Friday night viewing unmissable once again this week, this time with the featured families taking aim at Prince Harry just days before he and wife Meghan appear in their much-publicised Oprah interview.

As usual, the TV viewers we love to watch held court on everything from cute mutts on Pooch Perfect to naked posing in Drawers Off.

But it was when they tuned into Prince Harry on The Late Late Show with James Corden that the sparks really started to fly.

It all started when the famous royal spoke to the former Gavin and Stacey star about his son's favoured snacks.

"My grandmother asked what Archie wanted for Christmas and Meg said a waffle maker," Harry recounted about a conversation with the Queen.

But the Siddiqui family - dad Sid and sons Baasit and Umar - were left confused.

"So was this waffle maker an actual person?" they laughed, adding: "I'm here just to make your waffles."

Gogglebox viewers on Twitter thought it was a laugh, with Eric Sutherland tweeting: "Watching #Gogglebox and loved the response from one of the Sidiqui boys when Prince Harry said he was sent a waffle maker for Xmas. 'Is the waffle maker an actual person?' Brilliant."

"Where's the waffle maker Meg? It's his day off today Harry! #Gogglebox " quipped tweeter Paul O'Hagan.

Sophie on Twitter added: "A waffle maker! How funny would that be if the Queen actually sent a person to make the waffles for Harry and Meghan?! #Gogglebox "
