Ukraine's Putin puppet governor 'poisoned by chef', flew to Moscow in coma weeks after 'failed bombing plot'

The PUPPET governor of the Putin-occupied Ukrainian city has been taken to hospital for suspected poisoning.

Kherson's chief, Vladimir Sardo, was hit by a second assassination attempt less than a month after he had previously survived the bomb plot.

Russian opposition media reported that Sardo was poisoned after a chef was brought to his home to cook for his Kremlin entourage.

The latest attempt on his life came when the Putin-appointed mayor of Kherson was targeted during a Ukrainian military counterattack.

After eating the food prepared by the chef, Sardo reportedly "fell ill, his head began to blur, and his fingertips became numb."

He was taken to a hospital in Simferopol, Crimea, 170 miles away. Ukrainian forces are about to launch an offensive against the Russian occupiers south of Kherson.

The mayor was placed in a coma and flew to Moscow.

Local authorities deny he was poisoned, but doctors are still awaiting his toxicology report. Kirill Stremsov said: "Five months nonstop under bullets and graduates. The man was simply tired.

"The diagnosis is fatigue."

44} Poisoning occurred less than a month after Russia's appointment as Kherson official.

Russian state news agency RIA Novosti quoted the official. It's like saying a bomb was placed in the road waiting for Sardo to get through.

However, the explosive was "discovered and defused" before Putin's cronies reached it.

He previously served as mayor of Kherson from 2002 to 2012, claiming that "Kherson is Ukraine," just weeks after Putin's invasion.

Less than a month later, however, he was inaugurated as mayor under Russian rule since he supported Putin's brutal aggression.

After Russian forces bombed the city of Kherson in February, Saldo was appointed as a puppet mayor, making it the first Ukrainian region occupied by Moscow.

Kherson, about 280 miles from the capital Kyiv, has been under Russian control since the invasion began.

But Sard's reign against the city ofignored the Kremlin attack,and saw brave Kherson residents protest in the streets.
