Mr Scobie said the move "raised his eyebrows" as millions of Britons grappled with the cost of living crisis. I hid,” he claimed. 

He said that the couple should not get his fourth home, "especially if his renovation of one of them will cost a lot of money." It's hardly normal for "ordinary people," he said.  

The Kensingtons intend to keep their Kensington Palace apartments, home of their official duties.
