Strictly Come Dancing 2022 LIVE: Fans all saying same thing as fan favourite dumped & Will Mellor cruises to safety

STRICTLY'S Ellie Taylor is the latest celebrity to be dumped from the show after a tense dance-off against Fleur East in Sunday's show.

Strictly Come Dancing stars Will Mellor topped the leaderboard with his opening Charleston routine, performed with Nancy Xu - with the pair scooping 38.

Helen and Gorka and Ellie and Johannes found themselves in the bottom two after scoring 29 and 25 a piece - but the Countryfile presenter managed to escape the bottom two.

The public decided Ellie & Johannes would face Fleur & Vito for the dreaded dance-off - with their places in the Quarter Final at risk.

But it was Ellie that the judges sent home, with the comedian saying: “It has and it’s been, I’m going to be a cliché machine now, but it’s been everything and more. I never in a million years expected to be in for this long and to experience it so fully."

Motsi Mabuse said: “You guys put a lot of work in there and that is the feeling of the samba.”

Shirley Ballas added: “I thought for the samba being a difficult dance, you did it well.”

Skelton secured a score of 29.
