Prince Harry was forced to travel to Germany alone as he headed to the Invictus Games, while his wife Meghan Markle remained at home in America.
The sporting event, which Harry set up back in 2014 to help injured and sick military veterans, hosted the Duke of Sussex at the grand opening ceremony yesterday evening. However, many people were disappointed that his wife was nowhere to be seen.
Luckily for fans, Meghan is set to join her husband next week and the couple will both attend the Invictus Games closing ceremony on September 19. One expert has suggested there's a key reason as to why Meghan delayed her arrival in Dusseldorf.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, PR to the stars Mayah Riaz suggested: "It's great to see Meghan joining Harry at The Invictus Games. Although she will be flying out separately, possibly due to minimising the time away from her two children."

It will be important for Meghan to join Harry for some of the Invictus Games as she has been a huge supporter of the event ever since she started dating Harry. The couple even used the sporting event to make their first public appearance together.
Mayah told us: "Where possible, Harry and Meghan will always support each other. After many split rumours, it's great to see they are showing a united front."

Getty Images)The PR expert also said it wouldn't matter if Meghan decided not to turn up to the games as she would still be supporting her husband in private. " Meghan has always supported the games. However, even if she did not join him, it would not have meant she did not support Harry. As all support does not need to be public," she told us.
The Invictus Games was started in 2014 by Prince Harry to inspire "recovery through sports, esports and adventurous challenge," according to its website. The Dusseldorf games will have 21 nations represented, ten sports, and more than 1,500 volunteers.
The closing ceremony will take place on September 16, just one day after Harry's birthday. Mayah suggested he and Meghan will definitely find time to mark the special occasion. "The games also coincide with Harry’s 39th birthday, so no doubt they will be able to make time for celebrations together," she said.
