Celtic have announced their fourth signing of the summer in Fraser Forster.
The Southampton keeper was earlier pictured at Celtic Park ahead of the Hoops’ clash with AIK.
But now he has been confirmed and will wear the squad No.67.
Neil Lennon still wants more signings and is ready to make his move for Greg Taylor. Kilmarnock boss Angelo Alessio, however, insists new arrival Niko Hamalainen is NOT a replacement for the left-back. Birger Melingis another target, as is Brentford's Rico Henry. On the opposite side of defence, Robert Gumny and Omar Elabdellaoui continue to be linked.
Or, you know, just until the transfer window closes.
Steven Gerrard has entered into the ultimate game of patience over the Liverpool winger this summer but the Champions League winners are refusing to budge on their "no more loans" stance - for now, at least.
Kilmarnock and Motherwell are battling to sign Celtic outcast Jack Hendry on loan while Aberdeen striker Sam Cosgrove has been linked with a jaw-dropping move to Lazio and Stevie May remains in limbo.

Oxlade-Chamberlain signs new Liverpool deal
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has signed a new long-term Liverpool contract.
The former Arsenal midfielder, 26, has had an injury-hit spell at Anfield but has been handed a new contract.
He told the club’s official website:
I’m really, really excited - it’s been in the pipeline for a little while, so it’s nice to finally get it done and just extend my time here, which I am really looking forward to.
I feel like I missed out on a year, which I obviously did, so it’s really exciting for me to be able to sign.
It’s something that I feel is an opportunity to give that year back and make up for lost time – and hopefully put in some good performances to make amends for not being around last year.
Fraser Forster has been announced as Celtic’s fourth first-team signing of the summer.
The Southampton keeper joins on a season-long loan and has asked for the squad number 67.

Holt praises Livi board
Gary Holt believes Livingston’s hierarchy deserve praise for investing in the squad.
Holt brought in his 10th summer signing earlier this week when he signed 22-year-old Sheffield Wednesday winger Jack Stobbs on loan.
Livi lost some key players following an impressive first season back in the Ladbrokes Premiership but Holt has been backed in the transfer market.
We’ve got creativity and technically good players, we felt we didn’t have that extra ingredient of someone with a bit of extra pace and Jack certainly has that.
He is young, hungry and wants to be a footballer. He wants to play first-team football, doesn’t just want to come and train. He hit it off well with us when he was in a couple of weeks ago training.
I’m delighted with the options now and I want to say a big thank you to the board.
We don’t get a lot of good praise. We get a lot of stuff thrown our way from time to time and we can take it. We are big boys, we accept it.
But I’ve got to thank them for what they have done and what they continually do for the club.
Sanchez misses United training
Alexis Sanchez was absent from Manchester United training on Thursday as his move to Inter Milan moves closer.
The former Barcelona and Arsenal star has flopped badly at Old Trafford and is set to be moved on.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Sanchez was given permission to skip the session by club officials to sort out a new visa.
Killie boss on signing more
Angelo Alessio has admitted he wants to bring in more players before the September 2 deadline.
Record Sport revealed earlier this week Celtic’s Jack Hendry is being eyed by the Kilmarnock boss.
And Alessio conceded he wants another centre-back.
At the moment we’re having a lot of conversations and we want to add new players this week or next.
There are a lot of situations but at this moment only conversations.
We need to complete the squad with another centre-back as we only have three.

Fraser Forster is expected to be confirmed as a Celtic player again before the end of today.

We’ll bring you confirmation of Foster’s move as soon as we have it.
Alessio in defiant stance
Angelo Alessio insists the arrival of Niko Hamalainen isn’t the death knell in Greg Taylor’s Kilmarnock career.
The QPR left-back has arrived at Rugby Park on a season-long loan but the Italian has promised supporters Scotland international Taylor is still very much part of his plans.
Taylor is a target for Celtic Nurnenberg and a host of English teams but Alessio has delivered an emphatic message.
I want two players for every position. We have Greg Taylor at left-back and now we have Hamalainen
We want to keep our best players and for this reason the situation with Celtic and Greg are just rumours.
There are 10 or 11 days left of the market but we know our situation with Greg Taylor. It’s only rumours.
I don’t know (what it will take for us to sell him) but I’ve spoken a lot of times about this situation with the board and Billy Bowie. We agree that we want to keep our best players. It’s an easy situation.
Greg is a good player in my team and I don’t want to think about him going away.
We’re pleased to have Niko here. He’s young and athletic and we believe he can make a good addition.”
DONE DEAL! Morias joins St Mirren
St Mirren have signed striker Junior Morias from Northampton Town.
The Jamaican forward has penned a two-year deal in Paisley to become Jim Goodwin’s eighth summer signing.
Morias began his career at Wycombe Wanderers before spells at Boreham Wood, St Albans and Peterborough United.
Last season he scored six goals in 23 appearances for the Cobblers and the 24-year-old told the official St Mirren website he is relishing a new challenge in Scotland.
I got a phone call a couple of days ago from my agent and I knew this is what I wanted to do.
It’s a new challenge. I love challenges and I’m ready to put in the work.
I spoke to Foles (Sam Foley) and I asked him about everything I needed to know. He said there were a great bunch of lads here, good staff and it was all positive.
I had a good conversation with the manager and I know what he wants to achieve and it matches what I want to do.

What would Forster return mean for Bain and Gordon?
The news Fraser Forster looks to be on his way back to Celtic has split opinion among the Hoops’ faithful, many of who feel the goalkeeping department is not the priority for Neil Lennon.
The 31-year-old was a huge favourite in his first spell with the Hoops before moving onto Southampton for £10million in 2014.
Since then he has gone on to become an England international and Saints record breaker - reaching 708 minutes without conceding a goal three years ago - before spectacularly falling out of favour at St Mary’s.
In total the keeper kept a pretty decent 37 clean sheets in 107 Premier League appearances for Southampton.
But he has played just one top team match in the last 20 months - that coming in a 3-0 defeat to West Ham in May.
There’s little chance he would be heading back to Parkhead as back up though. And the old adage ‘two’s company, three’s a crowd’ is never more true than goalkeepers vying for the number one spot.
Forster’s return would leave huge question marks over the future of Scott Bain or Craig Gordon with the former coming in for criticism from fans for recent performances.
Gordon, 36, is in the final 12 months of his contract but Bain, 27, still has three years left to run on his.

Well offer Tanner deal
Motherwell have offered Craig Tanner an extension until Christmas.
The 24-year-old penned a short-term deal until the end of August this summer as the club supported him in his recovery from a ruptured patella tendon and dislocated kneecap.
Tanner has been out since March 2018 after suffering a freak injury in training but stepped up his recovery by playing 90 minutes and scoring for Well’s reserves at Ross County on Monday.
Fir Park boss Stephen Robinson is keen to keep Tanner and revealed they are in talks over a deal.
Craig is still a long way away as he’s been out for a heck of a long time but he’s getting there slowly. It’s going to take game time for him to do that.
We’re speaking just now as his contract runs out at the end of August and we’ve offered him an extended contract until Christmas.
We’ll look to see what kind of game time we can give him, whether that be a loan move or whether that’s through the reserves but we have to try to get Craig back.
It’s been a long road for the boy.
