Travel chaos threat this morning as fog warning issued by Met Office

Brits are set for travel chaos this morning with the Met Office issuing a yellow warning for fog.

With the start of December temperatures are starting to fall after a largely mild autumn so far and drivers are also likely to face fog in some parts of the UK on Thursday.

A yellow warning from the Met Office for fog has been issued which runs from 4am until 11am and covers large parts of southwestern England and south Wales.

It states: "Fog patches causing difficult driving conditions and perhaps some travel disruption."

People are told to expect "slower journey times with delays to bus and train services possible and "there is a chance of delays or cancellations to flights."
