A teenage girl was allegedly raped in a park and another was sexually assaulted.
A brutal attack occurred at Hyams Her Park Lake in Chingford, East London on Sunday.
The incident is believed to have occurred between 4:30 pm and 8:45 pm, with police arriving at the park just before 9:30 pm.
The two girls are now being supported by professional police officers, MyLondon reports.
A cordon was set up and the area was closed while police investigated.
The Metropolitan Police told her MyLondon that no arrests had been made and an investigation was ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police are investigating reports of rape and sexual assault against two teenage girls.

"The incident occurred at Hyams Park Lake, Chingford, between 4:30 pm and 8:45 pm on Sunday, August 7, and occurred at 9:30 pm that night. Police were notified some time ago.
