The UK's first-announced live music Drive-In is coming to the country this month, with nine live music concerts over nine nights.

Nightflix, a national drive-in cinema company, has revealed the dates for its August 2020 festival.

The festival makes for the perfect social distancing event while the UK continues to battle the coronavirus pandemic, and will be taking place at Newark Showground, Nottinghamshire.

The line-up is comprised of the UK's number one tribute acts, straddling multiple music genres, offering a little something for everyone.

As well as a support DJ, each event will now also include a movie following the main performance, and tickets are priced from £39 per car plus a booking fee.

Guests are required to adhere to government guidelines regarding mixing households but can bring a full car to enjoy the show.

Food and drink will also be available at the festival

Nightflix also says the company has been working in close partnership with venue owners and local authorities to ensure that not only are guests safe at the Festival, but that they can also have the optimum experience within the parameters of the prevailing guidance around Covid-19.

Nightflix Founder, John Sullivan: “Our main priorities are safety and enjoyment. We want our guests to feel looked after, know they are in a safe environment and to have the best time they can possibly have.

"With live music, the desire to dance and share the experience with friends is key. With this slight shift in dates, we hope to be able to offer guests a little more freedom of movement to maximise the fun without impacting on their safety.”
