Horrifying Images Shows the moment the corpse of a man was dragged down a river by a crocodile.
A man identified as Imran Diwan, aged 30, reportedly died on August 7 after visiting the Dadar River in the village of Sokdarag in India Gujarat. It disappeared under the surface of the water.
Local media suggested he may have slipped before falling into a dangerous river.
In a chilling footage, a man can be seen lying dead on the surface of a muddy river, gliding through it.
When he rolls over on his back, Crocodile can be found. It appears to be dragging his body towards land.
Moments later, the Reptilian fully reveals itself, submerging the corpse in water, while crowds of nearby villages watch in horror.
Locals reportedly attempted to rescue the man, but were unable to remove the corpse from the viscous reptilian jaws.
A fire brigade was said to have been called in to assist, but despite hours of searching, they were unable to find him. Javed, Imran's devastated brother, said: I think he must have slipped off the parapet and fell into the river.
"The reptile caught [him] and dragged [him] away."
Javed claims the search for his brother's body is still underway. .
He hopes that fishermen who frequent the river will be able to retrieve the carcass.
