Somber Scenes As Mourners Pay Last Respect To Veteran TV Presenter Catherine Kasavuli In Vihiga

The body of veteran TV presenter Ms. Catherine Kasavuli left Nairobi yesterday for burial that was scheduled to happen today Saturday 14th January 2023.

The late Catherine Kasavuli died after battling with cervical cancer. The demise of Catherine Kasavuli touched hearts of many people in the country since it was a great loss to the KCB media fraternity where she worked as news anchor.

Being a national figure, people politicians and other leaders held a fundraising ceremony to help in collecting adequate funds for descent send-off of Catherine Kasavuli.

According to report by Kenyans.co.ke, many mourners have gathered together to condole with Kasavuli’s mother Mama Rachel Inyangala. The body of the late Catherine Kasavuli will be laid to rest in Lulu village, Tigoi sub-county, Vihiga county.

Various leaders Narc party leader Mama Martha Karua have already arrived to pay last respect to Catherine Kasavuli. Body viewing is ongoing at Catherine Kasavuli’s village home.
