Shots were fired at an Israeli vehicle driving through the southern West Bank on Wednesday night, the military said.
No injuries were caused, but the car was slightly damaged in the attack.
According to the Israel Defense Forces, the driver came under fire from a passing vehicle near the Adorayim junction in the South Hebron Hills area of the West Bank.
The driver continued driving until he reached the settlement of Negohot and reported the incident.
The IDF said it launched a manhunt for the gunmen.

The shooting came hours after IDF chief Aviv Kohavi held a meeting with top officials regarding an uptick in shooting attacks and general violence in the West Bank.

Palestinian gunmen in recent months have targeted military posts, troops operating along the West Bank security barrier, Israeli settlements and civilians on the roads.
On Wednesday morning, at least four Palestinians were killed in a military raid in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Two of those killed were gunmen responsible for a series of shootings in the West Bank and were planning “more significant attacks in the near future,” according to officials. Kohavi said the military foiled a “concrete threat.”
In recent months Israeli troops have repeatedly come under gunfire during nightly raids in Palestinian cities in the West Bank.
The military launched the arrest operations after a series of deadly attacks that killed 19 people between mid-March and the beginning of May.
Many of the IDF’s arrests in recent months have concentrated on Nablus and Jenin, in the northern West Bank, where a number of the terrorists who committed the attacks earlier this year hailed from.
Israeli security officials have warned in recent months that the Palestinian Authority is losing control of the northern West Bank.
