Digicel has teamed up with NewComm to introduce a new, all-in-one online gaming experience this summer for players to instantly access and enjoy a wide selection of the games they love.
This platform called GameNation will officially launch via www.playgamenation.com and at the Digicel Headquarters on 14 Ocean Boulevard at 2pm on Saturday, August 13.
“GameNation is poised to become the platform of choice for customers to play their favourite online games, including action, racing, arcade, puzzles and more, with no download requirements or additional hardware needed,” according to a release from Digicel announcing the partnership.
According to the release, gamers will have access to hundreds of free-to-play and pay-to-play options, making GameNation the one-stop shop for online gaming entertainment. Non-existing Digicel customers will also have the option to create an account to access the GameNation platform.
The release said that players will be able to win prizes and “earn bragging rights through leader board rankings, among other perks”. It said GameNation will be easy to use, fun and accessible and will provide interactive online entertainment with real-life prizes. For an even more immersive experience, gamers can opt to connect their Bluetooth headsets and controllers.
Scratch & Win, Football Fantasy and Spin the Wheel are among other many titles GameNation has to offer in the early stages. The release noted that with NewComm looking to expand partnerships with leading global gaming platforms, local gamers can look forward to discovering new titles over the coming months.
