NEFF attends EFF anniversary in SA

The leadership of the Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters (NEFF) arrived in South Africa on Wednesday to participate in celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), led by Julius Malema.

Thousands of EFF members were this week expected to gather at Marikana, near Rustenburg in the North West province of South Africa, to commemorate the anniversary.

This event serves as one of the celebrations leading up to the official anniversary event, which will take place at Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium on Saturday.

The EFF, inspired by the 26 July Movement, a revolutionary organisation and later a political party led by Fidel Castro in Cuba, has been advocating for various policies since its establishment.

Some of their key objectives include the expropriation of land without compensation, and the nationalisation of mines and banks.
