China is doing a big survey to find out why people are scared to have kids. They want to help more people start families. This comes after Chinaʼs population went down for two years in a row
Chinas health bosses are asking 30000 people why they dont want to have kids. The survey is happening in 150 counties and 1500 different places (this is a lot). They want to know why people are scared to start families.
The government is trying to get young couples to have babies. This is because China had less people two years in a row which is not good for them. The last time they did a big survey like this was about 3 years ago.
The survey will look at why people dont want to have kids and what makes them scared. After that‚ the government wants to help people who want to have babies. They might give them some good stuff to make it easier.
China thinks having more people is important to make the country strong. Last month‚ health people said they want to tell young folks to get married and have kids at the right time. They also said moms and dads should share the work of taking care of kids.
