Kumul Minerals Holdings supports church programs

Kumul Mineral Holdings Limited (KMHL), through its Community Services Fund (CSF) Committee has presented over K1.4 million to the Bible Translation Association (BTA) and Gerehu United Church to support the two organisations’ outreach programs and projects.

The presentation was made on July 28. Under the KMHL established Community Services Fund, KMHL support socially responsible projects to communities around the country.

Fund Chairman, Aho Baliki said BTA and Gerehu United Church have a good purpose for this support that will go towards supporting the churches and the people of PNG.

In a three-year partnership with Bible Translation Association, KMHL will support BTA in its aim to translate and distribute Bibles throughout PNG.

Chairman Baliki said though it’s a significant amount of contribution he believes that it is towards a worthy cause to transform lives. Another donation of K300, 000 was presented to the Gerehu United Church in the suburb of Port Moresby to refurbish their Sunday School Hall.

Upon handing over the cheques, KMHL’s CSF Chairman Baliki congratulated BTA and Gerehu United Church as the first recipients of the support from KMHL under the CSF fund.

BTA Interim Director, Ofasin Wayne, is grateful for this donation from KMHL towards the ministry and the projects that will be carried out under the funding.
