PNG Air suspends flights to Wapenamanda, Enga Province.

The airline in a statement said they flight suspension to Wapenamanda is due to recent civil unrest in Wapenamanda, Enga Province.

“All scheduled PNG Air flights into Wapenamanda have now been suspended, effective on the 25TH July, 2023.

This suspension will remain in place indefinitely until such time PNG Air can determine the safe operations of our services back into the Province.

Our Call Centre team will be in contact with customers who have purchased tickets for inbound and outbound Wapenamanda travel for further advisories.

PNG Air sincerely apologises for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciates your understanding during this time.
