Wantok reward, a loyalty reward program by RH group of companies that offers gifts to customers from points earned at its shops, is gaining a lot of customers nationwide.
To become a wantok member you have to register first with K20 in order to be able to earn reward points at any RH supermarkets, RH star office works, Mobil service stations and RH pharmacies
“It’s exciting every time you make a purchase and you’re being awarded you feel like buying something to make up for the points,” says Joyce, who is also a member.
Wantok reward is not just about shopping, it pitches customers an alternative to earn points towards purchasing items it has specified for loyal customers or wantok members at its reward counter.
“K1 is equal to one point…so if you’re purchasing K100 that’s a hundred points,” Joyce said, adding that gifts can only be rewarded from 1000 points and upwards.
“You can build up within 2-3 years in order to get gifts.”
The reward card is now accessed by simple Papua New Guineans to corporate bodies, an achievement which Joyce says points to RH’s wide customer base and friendly services.
Joyce, whose role is to bring customers to all RH shops affiliated with wantok reward, is encouraging all loyal customers to not only just spend on shopping but be rewarded with points for gifts by registering as members.
“Instead of just spending every time at RH they also have to get something from RH,” she said.
Wantok reward is participating for the second time at the vision city’s 3rd trade expo where they are displaying their products and services amongst 17 other businesses.
But what’s more exciting for keen customers is that if they get to register as a member during the expo they would have the chance to get free tickets to the paradise cinemas.
“So instead of buying a K20 movie ticket you’re getting this free,” Joyce says.
