This is in relation to reports that some supporters of another candidate called for a boycott of former actress Aya Medel’s Japanese restaurant after she showed support for BBM. The actress recently expressed her displeasure with the supporters of her opponent’s candidate.
A restaurant in Quezon City recently received negative online feedback after denying a huge take-out order from a customer who is purportedly a BBM supporter. Based on his piece, the restaurant received an order for 600 guests for a party. After finding that the order was for a BBM meeting, the owner declined it.
As a result of its political prejudice, the eatery has been under persistent attack and threats. It now has only 1.3 ratings on Google Reviews. Some even expressed support for the eatery, despite the fact that not everyone was critical of it.
