MANILA, Philippines — The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) suspended operations after two men fell on the tracks from a flyover in Pasay City on Sunday evening.

The MRT-3 management in an advisory said the two unidentified men reportedly fell on the train tracks between the line’s Taft and Magallanes stations at around 6:37 p.m.

“Train operations were halted as security personnel and medical professionals responded at the area of incident,” said the management of MRT-3

“No breakdowns on the MRT-3 system have been reported,” it added.

According to the MRT-3 management, the Philippine National Police’s Scene of the Crime Operation (PNP-SOCO) is now investigating the incident.

INQUIRER.net has reached out to the PNP to get more details, but has yet to receive a response, as of writing.
