The East Asian country’s leader Kim Jong Un has made numerous appearances in several news outlets recently. North Korea also displayed some activity recently, including one where they launched an unidentified missile.
Recently, another shocking news coming from the state hit media outlets. The news was about a North Korean general who was allegedly thrown by Kim Jong Un into a piranha-filled fish tank for suspected plans of coup.
Piranhas are a species of carnivorous fish that is known for their strong bites and sharp teeth. Also seen in movies and documentaries, piranhas can indeed be dangerous.
In a Daily Star report, the North Koean leader had a huge piranha tank put up inside his Ryongsong residential spot in the North Korean capital Pyongyang where the general was allegedly thrown and slain by piranhas.
There were also claims that the executed general had some of his body parts lacerated before he was thrown into the tank. The piranhas inside the tanks were imported from Brazil, according to the reports.
It was not certain, however, whether the general was slain by piranha bites or other reasons including loss of blood, from his prior cuts or he could also have drowned in the water.
Since his succession to the position after his father Kim Jong-Il, the current North Korean leader reportedly had 16 aides executed.
This is according to an article from MSN News.
The execution were apparently ordered to penalize violations. For instance, back in March, he ordered the execution of his envoy to the United States – Kim Hyok Chol for allegedly “betraying the supreme leader”..
That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
