Pinoy classic film ipalalabas sa Italy

Ipapalabas sa Bologna, Italy ang 2020 restored version ng Filipino classic na “Kisapmata”.

Magiging bahagi ang “Kisapmata” ng 34th Il Cinema Ritrovato (Recovered Cinema) sa darating na Agosto 31. Isa itong festival para sa mga recovered at restored classic movie.

Kabilang sa mga pelikulang ipapalabas ang “The Great Dictator”, “Breathless”, “You Only Live Once”, “The Elephant Man”, “The Wrong Man” at “The Spider’s Stratagem”.

Nakasali noon sa 1981 Metro Manila Film Festival ang “Kisapmata”, isang psychological horror film na inspired sa artikulong sinulat ni Nick Joaquin na “The House on Zapote Street”, at pinagbidahan nina Vic Silayan, Charo Santos, Jay Ilagan at Charito Solis.

Nanalo ito ng sampung awards kabilang ang best picture at best director.

Taong 1982 nang umukit ng kasaysayan ang direktor nitong si Mike de Leon nang ipalabas ang “Kisapmata” sa Director’s Fortnight sa Cannes Film Festival. Nag-iisa pa lang siyang Filipino filmmaker na nakagawa noon.
