Topping Singapore’s Top Artists is Taylor Swift. Her released rerecording album, Red (Taylor’s Version), caught the hearts of many and made it to fifth in Top Albums.

K-pop superstar BTS managed to maintain their ranking as the Top Group for the third time.

Singaporean fans also anticipated the comeback of Jay Chou, known as the King of Mandopop, who was crowned Top Male Artist for the release of Greatest Works of Art (最偉大的作品) – his first studio album in six years.

2022 was a year of diversity for music consumption, wherein half of the Top 10 Artists were Asian talents. Taiwanese Mandopop singer Eric Chou and Singaporean artist JJ Lin made it to the list for their fourth consecutive year – which highlights that they are favoured by local listeners.

Another Asian artist, BLACKPINK, claimed the ninth spot. The girl group also ranked second in Singapore’s Top Groups for two consecutive years.
