Footage shows the station wagon slowly turning right as the motorcyclist speeds through the intersection and crashes into the front of the car.

The bike then ricochets away from the station wagon and hits another car as the man is sent flying through the air and lands on the road.

The 33-year-old Avalon rider landed close to a steel safety fence on the southeast side of the intersection.

The 46-year-old female driver of the station wagon was uninjured.

A CareFlight rescue helicopter rushed to the scene to treat the rider and worked with ambulance paramedics to stabilise the man, who had serious leg injuries.

The man was taken by ambulance to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.

The video was posted to the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page on Saturday and shows motorists rushing to the man's aid.

'This was in Sydney on the Wakehurst Parkway on Friday morning. The rider survived,' the caption read.

'It looks like he went through a late red and a car turned across in front of him, the bike then ricochets off and hits the car with the dash cam.'

A NSW Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia enquiries into the incident are continuing and an investigation is underway to determine who was at fault.
