Al Pacino’s dating history: A full timeline of his girlfriends and exes

Being the top dog in Hollywood comes with its fair share of perks — and for Al Pacino, that includes a long list of silver screen beauties.

The Oscar winner, who has never been married, has enjoyed the dating scene for decades, striking up romances with co-stars like Diane Keaton and Marthe Keller, to name a few.

As Pacino prepares to welcome his fourth child at the age of 83, take a look at his dating history and most famous exes.

Jill Clayburgh (1967-1972)

Pacino’s first public romance was with actress Jill Clayburgh.

The pair struck up a relationship in 1967, but five years later, when the actor was in the midst of newfound fame from his leading role in “The Godfather,” he dumped her.

”I went through it all,” she told the Washington Post in 1978 of their breakup. “Self-loathing, loathing him, pain, anger, fear.”

Clayburgh went on to marry playwright David Rabe in 1979, with whom she shared son Michael Rabe and actress daughter Lily Rabe.

The “An Unmarried Woman” star died in 2010 at age 66 after losing her 21-year battle with leukemia.

Pacino moved on with newly divorced actress Tuesday Weld shortly after he split from Clayburgh.

While their romance didn’t stand the test of time, Pacino and Weld did reunite — this time as co-stars — in the 1982 film “Author! Author!”

Weld, who has two children, went on to tie the knot twice more.

Marthe Keller (1977-1979)

It wasn’t love at first sight for Pacino and Marthe Keller, especially since they were embroiled in many on-set fights while filming the 1977 film “Bobby Deerfield.”

However, the pair soon realized they had feelings for each other and kickstarted a relationship.

They broke up two years later.

Diane Keaton (1974-1990)

Arguably his most famous ex, Pacino dated his “Godfather” co-star and on-screen wife Diane Keaton on and off from 1974 to 1990.

“I was mad for him. Charming, hilarious, a nonstop talker,” she told People in 2017. “There was an aspect of him that was like a lost orphan, like this kind of crazy idiot savant. And oh, gorgeous.”

During their rocky romance, Keaton confessed to wanting to marry Pacino — a desire that wasn’t reciprocated.

Once the actor refused to commit to forever, she called time on their love in 1990 after giving him an ultimatum.

Jan Tarrant made Pacino a father.

Tarrant, who was Angelina Jolie’s first acting coach, welcomed daughter Julie Marie Pacino in 1989.

She and Pacino dated in the late 1980s but called it quits around 1990.

Lyndall Hobbs (1990-1995)

Pacino went on to strike up a relationship with Australian director and producer Lyndall Hobbs in the early 1990s.

“My stomach lurched with a rush of romance-induced adrenaline and I felt positively giddy,” she wrote of their early days in her 2015 memoir, “A Girl From Oz,” according to the Evening Standard.

Hobbs said the pair split because she wanted to have kids.

“Al was quite tricky, obviously, and there’s a reason he’s never married. I was strong and quite difficult in my own way too,” she admitted.

Hobbs went on to adopt a son.

Penelope Ann Miller (1993-1994)

Pacino’s romance with Penelope Ann Miller was highly publicized because it was an affair.

The “Carlito’s Way” co-stars couldn’t keep their hands off each other at the same time he was dating Hobbs.

“It’s not a secret, and I’m not ashamed of it,” Miller told People in 1993. “Al is a very passionate person, and he brought out a certain womanliness, a sexuality, a passion in me. I think I always knew I had it in me, but he brought out a real fire.”

“We really wanted to keep the relationship discreet for the sake of the movie,” she added of keeping their fling a secret on set.

Miller went on to marry Will Arnett and then James Huggins, with whom she shares two daughters.

Beverly D’Angelo (1997-2004)

In true actor fashion, Pacino’s romance with Beverly D’Angelo started off with a meet-cute.

The pair first laid eyes on each other in 1996 on a flight to New York City. Pacino couldn’t help but flirt with D’Angelo, who was married to Italian duke Lorenzo Salviati at the time.

“He was seated in front of me. He said, ‘Come up and sit beside me,’ and by the time the plane landed, it was on,” she recalled in an Instagram video in 2023.

The “National Lampoon’s Vacation” star divorced her husband so that she could be with Pacino — and even said Salviati was totally onboard with the idea.

“‘Al Pacino, he’s fantastic. I love him. We divorce,'” she claimed the duke told her.

After a few years of dating, the pair welcomed twins, Anton and Olivia, who were conceived through IVF, in 2001.

“In 1997, he looked me in the eye and said, ‘I want you to be the mother of my children,’ and although I’d avoided that role my whole life, I was deeply in love and I was 100 percent in,” she said in the video.

But it wasn’t meant to be, as the couple split in 2004 and endured a custody battle over their children.

Lucila Solá (2008-2018)

Pacino found love with Argentine actress Lucila Solá in 2008.

The pair, who dated for a decade until their breakup in 2018, are still on good terms despite no longer being romantically involved.

What’s more, Pacino remains a father figure to Solá’s daughter, Camila Morrone, who famously dated Leonardo DiCaprio for four years.

The “Daisy Jones & The Six” star recently revealed that she still turns to Pacino for acting advice.

“Of course, the first person I called was my stepdad, who has been an actor for a very long time and is a very established actor,” she said on “The Late Late Show” in 2018.

“And I was like ‘Look Al, I never asked you for anything, I don’t even know what to do. I have a script, where do I start? How do I act?’ And he said ‘Come over, we’ll have tea, we’ll run the script.'”

After parting ways with Solá, Pacino fueled dating rumors with Israeli actress Meital Dohan that same year.

The pair, who have a 36-year age gap, were spotted out in Hollywood several times and often enjoyed intimate dinners at celeb hotspots in the city.

They eventually broke up in 2020 — just months after hitting the red carpet together for Pacino’s film “The Irishman.”

“It’s hard to be with a man so old, even Al Pacino,” Dohan told Times of Israel in 2020. “The age gap is difficult, yes. I tried to deny it, but now he is already an elderly man, to be honest. So even with all my love, it didn’t last.”

Most recently, Pacino has been quietly dating Noor Alfallah since the COVID-19 pandemic, multiple sources told Page Six in April 2022.

Two years later, Alfallah made their relationship Instagram-official.

The pair are currently expecting a child, which will be Pacino’s fourth.
