Alyssa Milano apologizes to Britney Spears after questioning her well-being: report

Alyssa Milano has reportedly extended an olive branch to Britney Spears.

After the “Gimme More” singer called out the “Charmed” alum over an old tweet in which she questioned her well-being, Milano privately reached out to apologize on Wednesday, according to TMZ.

Per the outlet, Milano sent a “private message” to Spears. However, it’s unclear what was said and if the “Toxic” singer responded.

Sources told TMZ that the “Melrose Place” star, 50, “expressed support” for Spears, 41, in her message.

Page Six has reached out to Milano’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.

On Tuesday, Spears — who recently received a wellness check from police — accused Milano of “bullying” her after the actress tweeted last December, “Someone please go check on Britney Spears.”

“It saddens me to see things about me from people who don’t know me !!! This definitely feels like a form of bullying !!!” Spears wrote over a screenshot of Milano’s Dec. 20 tweet.

“Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another not pulling one another down !!!” she added.

The pop star accused the actress of “bullying” her after demanding someone “check” on her.

Spears’ post came two days after she had to defend herself from allegations that she was having a “breakdown” because she deleted her Instagram account.

“Since everyone thinks they know my story. THINK AGAIN !!! A mere side of any given SUNDAY doesn’t show worship placing someones story out there … it’s a day of WELCOMING … not a righteous reply !!!” she wrote on Instagram Jan. 29.

“It is what it is … nope I’m not having a breakdown … I am who I am and moving forward in my life. I have never felt better !!!”

And just a few days before that, cops showed up at the “Womanizer” songstress’ California home after receiving an influx of calls from fans who thought she was in danger.

Spears later said that her fans “went too far” for making the “prank phone calls” to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. She also clarified that the police “never entered” her home and “left immediately” after realizing there was “no issue.”

Spears has since reactivated her Instagram account.
