USC vs. Colorado pick
The Colorado Buffaloes face another tough challenge when the No. 8 USC Trojans come to Folsom Field for their final Pac-12 game in Boulder.
While USC -21.5 is tempting, that half point is troubling because I don’t see Colorado getting absolutely embarrassed again. That’s why I like the under of 72.5 points.
Yes, this is a game involving the USC offense and two suspect defenses, but that total is just too high. The Trojans played in a shootout-style game last Saturday against Arizona State … and 70 total points were scored. Plus, Colorado’s offensive line issues could really limit its scoring output in this game.
Shedeur Sanders has been sacked 11 times in the last two games, and USC’s defensive line is improved from last year. The Trojans had eight sacks against a similarly bad ASU offensive line, so expect Sanders to be under pressure from the jump.
