Cops search for man, woman, in NYC subway assaults: NYPD

A man randomly slugged two straphangers on Bronx trains last week – days before a female attacker struck a man with a taser during a clash over a subway seat, authorities said.

A 38-year-woman was leaving the Brook Avenue No. 6 train station in Mott Haven just after 10 a.m. March 19 when a stranger suddenly approached and punched her in the head, cops said.

The male attacker fled the station on foot toward Brown Place, authorities said.

The victim refused medical attention for facial injuries.

A day later, authorities believe the same suspect targeted a 24-year-old woman riding a No. 6 train approaching the Hunts Point Avenue station around 12:25 p.m.

The man randomly slapped the straphanger in the face before getting off the train, police said.

That victim also refused medical attention, cops said.

Police released footage late Thursday of the suspect walking on the street wearing a black balaclava, gray hoodie and blue jeans.

The NYPD is also looking for a female suspect who allegedly assaulted a 59-year-old man on board a Queens-bound A train approaching the Utica Avenue station in Crown Heights.

The two straphangers got into a squabble over a seat that eventually turned physical, cops said.

The woman displayed a taser and struck the man in the face with it before taking off, police said.

Police released photos of the still-at-large suspect wearing a brown winter coat over a black top, passing through the turnstile.

The victim was taken to SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
