I don't use deodorant and rarely shower - and I'm proud to be musty

Women who claim not to shower often or use deodorant are told they smell despite apparently poor hygiene. I say never.

Addie Kirchner made her TikTok followers question her way of life after she posted a video describing herself as "musty."

"I don't use deodorant. I avoid showers as much as possible,"she writes Kirchner in this clip. This she has been viewed 128,000 times.

"Sleep with dirty feet. Hairbrush? I don't know her," she continued, noting that she uses Dr. Bronner's brand of soap. I just don't mean to offend," she said. "My family is horrified, but they haven't told me I stink yet."

Some viewers praised Kirchner's honest demeanor.

"A little taste doesn't hurt anyone," one user replied, while another added, "Hahahaha... good luck, live your way and be happy!" I was.

But her family wasn't the only one baffled by her claim that she didn't shower, as hundreds of followers slammed her TikToker for her habits.

"Disappointed and disgusted," wrote another user.

"Awful flex but okay," agreed another, while someone else suggested she might just be "lazy."

"Are you kidding me?" wrote a confused user.

It could have all been a practical joke.

In her video, Kirchner confirmed she was actually in the shower and showed viewers the products she uses.

"My shower products help me sleep through the night," she added to the well-stocked shower clip.

In a follow-up video, the TikToker shared some of the products -- including deodorant -- that she apparently does use for hygienic purposes.
