Illinois Governor Pritzker told NRA to "leave us in hell" after a tweet about the shootings.

Illinois Governor J.B.Pritzkertold the National Rifle Association that his state was "hell only" in response to a group tweeting about a mass shooting in a gunless zone. I told you to leave.

"And 100% of the mass shootings are done with guns," the Illinois Democratic Party said on Tuesday night, "94% of the masses' shootings were done in the gunless zone." I tweeted in response.

"As Governor, on behalf of the people of Highland Park-leave us in hell," Pritzker said.

Illinois received an overall "A-" grade from the Gifford Law Center in 2021 to prevent gun control with its annual gun control scorecard, with strict gun control legislation. It was ranked 8th in the whole country.

The Gifford Law Center to prevent gun violence is a universal background check in Illinois. Admired the extreme risk protection order. In addition, Highland Park leaders banned "assault rifles" including AR15 and AK47 in 2013.

Highland Park shooter 21-year-old Robert "Bobby" E. Climo III was flagged by police as a "clear and present danger" in 2019, but nevertheless.I was able to pass pass 4. Background check from 2020 to 2021.

The Pritzker office and the National Rifle Association did not immediately respond to requests for comment from FoxNews Digital.
