Kris Jenner Gives More Insight Into “Draining” Blac Chyna Lawsuit on ‘The Kardashians’: “It’s Emotionally, Physically, and Spiritually Exhausting”

It’s been a whole week but we finally made it to the second episode of The Kardashians Season 2, “Prada You!” While Kylie Jenner didn’t reveal what she named baby No. 2 (but thank you Kris Jenner for trying) and Kourtney Kardashian is awaiting an important call from the fertility doctor, we did get a little more insight into the $100 million lawsuit filed against the family by Blac Chyna from none other than the momager herself.

During the episode, Kylie heads over to Kris’ house in one of her first post-baby outings to help her mom get her mind off the trial.

“It’s always so special spending time with Kylie,” Kris told the camera. “But we also have this trial looming over our head.”

She added, “As a mom, I’m very protective of my kids. And, on top of that, it’s really draining. It’s emotionally, physically, and spiritually exhausting to be going through this.”

While Kris opened up slightly, it looks like we’ll be waiting a little longer for a full recap as she said she “can’t really say anything about it right now,” because she doesn’t “want to add to the drama.”

The lawsuit filed by Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, has been ongoing since 2017, when her reality show with ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian, Rob & Chyna, was ultimately canceled as a result of their messy breakup. The two share five-year-old daughter Dream Kardashian together.

Following the show’s cancellation, the model sued Kris, Kylie, Khloé Kardashian, and Kim Kardashian for alleged defamation and interference of contract, blaming them for the series being killed.

The news the verdict siding in favor of the Kardashian/Jenner family, who did not have to pay any damages to Chyna, came out on the same day as last spring’s Met Gala — aka the Oscars for the Kardashians. While she was vague, Kris dished to Variety about what got her through the trial.

“I live in my faith. And just hope that that’s enough,” she said. “I’m glad it’s over, and I’m glad it’s over for the girls.”

The Kardashians airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. PT / Thursdays at midnight ET on Hulu.
