Newspapers reported that high levels of arsenic were found on seven Detroitsites that were demolished in 2017-18 and filled with soil.
The results followed the concerns raised by federal inspectors that 200 sites could be filled with dangerous stains. The
test has shown dangerous levels of arsenic on seven sites so far, and the eighth "does not fully meet quality standards," the city said Thursday.
Detroit has ordered contractorsto replace soil at seven sites and test or replace soil at another 127 sites, the Detroit News reported. ..
